COMMUNITY PAINT DAY
November 15, 2025 – Sarasota, FL
On November 15th, Liss Design partnered with the City of Sarasota to host a vibrant, joy-filled Community Paint Day—a hands-on creative experience that brought together families, neighbors, students, and local leaders to co-create a public art piece that will live in our city for years to come.
This event wasn’t just about paint.
It was about belonging, connection, and what happens when creativity becomes a shared language.

Bringing Sarasota Together Through Art
The heart of this project was simple:
Create something beautiful, together.
Children dipped brushes with fearless enthusiasm. Parents added thoughtful strokes. Artists, volunteers, and passersby all joined to contribute their color, their story, and their presence. Throughout the day, the wall transformed—not only with layers of paint, but with laughter, conversation, and a deep sense of neighborhood pride.
By inviting the community directly into the artistic process, we turned a blank surface into a shared canvas of expression. The final mural now stands as a visual reminder of what collaboration can build.
